Sometimes these are rejoicings and praises that they're

lifting to the Lord and they want us to join with them. But all the time it is humble

requests and and praises given to the King of Heaven Jesus Christ.

We are today going to be going through many requests, praying for those things as we go one at

a time. I invite you to pray with me, not just to listen, but to actually

intercessor who goes to the throne of grace for us in prayer. We are great. Lord Jesus, we are grateful you are a king. We humble our hearts before you knowing that we have no access to the

father, no means of securing his help, no way in which we would ever live up to any standard by which he would accept us, except through

you Jesus, through the blood you shed on the cross, pouring out your spotless life in exchange for our guilty lives.

You made yourself our atonement.

You made yourself our propitiation, our appeasement of God's wrath and you have made us
