My name is Nick Pollock, and today we're going to do yesterday's podcast today.

I apologize that I was not able to get out the Plus Pitch podcast on Monday for Sunday's games.

It was a very busy day.

I may have to make sure that the list came out.

But you know what?

I wanted to make sure that I still did it for you guys.

So here we go. Let's review Sunday's games. We're going to start with Brian Beio, the long-awaited

Brian K.O. As he demolished the Yankees, seven-ending zero runs, three hits, three walks, and eight

strikeouts, 13 whiffs here. The main thing is that the cutter showed up. 33%

overall usage. It was great. 34% CSW on it, 68% strikes didn't allow a single hit on any of those

38 pitches thrown. It was at 89 miles per hour. I like this a lot more than the sweeper that we've

been seeing from Bayo. And I got to say, the

change-up and the sinker were super well spotted down and arm-side to both right-handers and

left-handers. The four-seamer upstairs at a flat 1.5-hide-adjust-a VAA is also good. This is the most

complete I have seen Brian Beow since forever. The only thing I'm

concerned about is that he is a cross-body pitcher, and it does mean that command can fluctuate.

And to say one game of this kind of dominance is going to stick is not a wise thing to say.

So we also need to see maybe that cutter can be a little bit better commanded.

It was more of a surprise I think against the Yankees.

All the Yankees have been very cold as an offense.
