1:13.0 | They want to know, how do I do that? How do I utilize technology? I'm going to start with us, you know, we come from a door knocking business where that's not technology. |
1:25.0 | Put signs in yard driving around, fill up the gas tank on a van and talking to people, right. And then we advance to some telemarketing mark, you know, how we did things. And that was a little bit of technology. |
1:39.0 | And then in power home solar, we utilize technology to brand, whether it be social media, whether it be Google, top of the funnel, TV billboards, vehicles, all that good stuff, right. |

It worked to 2400 employees is sometimes business owners, sales managers, operational managers will actually throw bodies at a problem or throw bodies as a way to grow, explain how that happens and why we shouldn't do that. 2:48.0 | You know, nowadays, you know, that's really there's an easier way to get there, one that costs significantly less and adds efficiency to the folks you do have on your team, and that's using using technology. |

3:09.0 | And now give me an example, let people understand, you know, they're looking at this and they're like, well, yeah, and folks like I have to do payroll, I have to add more people or I I have to do accounting, I have to add more people or I I have to have certain people answer the phones and and take notes and, you know, like explain some of the ways that it's affected our business and how a light bulb went off for you, me, the whole team of how to truly transition differently. |
3:36.0 | Yeah, I think, you know, I think one of the one of the big things is we saw technology working with that mass marketing, you know, going from like you mentioned the timeline at knock indoors and that kind of thing into telephone and making calls. |
3:48.0 | And then into today that digital marketing, but what we've done with our retargeting and opening up text messaging and email campaigns and that kind of thing that's that's really used to technology on that marketing front. |
3:59.0 | But we've now taken that over into the processes of our business because we look at things like, you know, traditionally like for us with our customers, we like to say in touch with them touch base, you know, keep them updated on on whether solar projects are because, you know, a lot of folks don't know, but getting solar isn't always a quick thing. |
4:16.0 | It can take you know, several weeks, a few months to get through all the processes and you know, there's times we'll look at a customer account and we've touched them 150 times. |
4:26.0 | So 150 times that someone has actually picked up the phone and called this customer or handled something on the customer's account. |
4:35.0 | It's it really is crazy and you know, when you start doing the math on that and how many how many man hours went into that, how many different things that we don't always account for and really what we're trying to train our team to do. |
4:46.0 | And I think this would help out, you know, a lot of the listeners and folks watching is figure out what your business is and figure out exactly, you know, every touch point you have and what triggered that is it. |
