This is a Friends of History Debating Society. I'm John Bachelor.

That is McCut of American greatness, a recovering politician, is with us.

And for months, that is, has been consistent in our conversations and conversations on air and conversations

with our colleagues, that President Biden would not be the candidate for 2024 for the Democratic Party.

That would appear to be closer than ever.

It hasn't happened yet.

However, I go to Thaddeus because he saw that so clearly when others did not.

Chiefly, the Republican and Democratic Party did not.

So what is clear now? We have headlines from the New York Times and others

suggesting that there's Democrat after Democrat coming forward and speaking out asking the

president to step aside. These are elected officials and I believe they're concerned with down ticket.

That means everybody else but the president.

That is what do you see now in the Democratic Party and the Republican Party about these days of indecision?

Well, John, I think that what we're seeing now

is the Democratic Party realizes

that they have until the convention and they would like to have Mr. Biden step aside voluntarily

so that they can have a new nominee.

We've discussed in the past.

The problem is I don't know that the Democratic Party, especially its establishment, has a consensus candidate

they would like to ride into the rescue to say to their democracy at the last minute and

nominate for the presidency.

So you have that problem.
