And we welcome our colleague Alan Tonelson, who's been our guide on the manufacturing the factory floor of the US for many years.

Is it now reviving given the slack attention that the Chinese factory floors gained these last years of

confrontation with the United States and our allies.

Alan, a very good day to you. I tell you anecdotally that since the middle of last year there have been reports of

Chinese manufacturers calling around offering deals, asking to be paid up front,

looking for bulk orders, saying that they've got time on their assembly lines, do you have any business for me?

In other words, desperate.

Since the middle of last year, the third plenum is now considering reviving once again the export economy of China that moved it from

1980 to 2020 as a miracle. Is there any indication that you see in the US or in our allies that the

Chinese manufacturers are demanded? In other words, that there's business for them. are and there is no business. Good evening to you, Alan.
