I'm John Bachelor with my colleague Professor Richard Epstein of the Hoover Institution, a senior fellow writing most recently defining ideas about the word freedom that was much used in rhetoric and in presentation and in signage. in America is seen as a fertile ground for freedom in all directions but what kind of

I work with an organization, a wonderful organization called the Liberty

So what they do is they use the word freedom

is a list of freedoms that they support

and nobody else may support in the same way.

And so if you go to the traditional definitions

of freedom, they were generally associated

with the particular items that were in the Bill of Rights.
