Summary
Kristina Dulaney is a nurse, mom, and postpartum psychosis survivor. She has been a registered nurse for 10 years. She has founded a non-profit, Cherished Mom, dedicated to educating moms, families and the community. She has also co-founded a local organization in her community with dedicated professionals to make a change.
She spent two weeks in the psychiatric unit at 5 1/2 months postpartum. She shares her story to ignite change, share information / resources with hope for a movement to supporting moms and families surrounding the number one complication of childbirth, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She has made it her mission to help other moms and families so they are not blindsided the way she was, even as a nurse.
Promoting awareness, education and support for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders to moms, families, healthcare professionals and the community.
