And then there's that unexpected issue, the second freeze of some sort by Senate Republican

leader Mitch McConnell in front of reporters this week brought a renewed focus on all of Americans

concerns about our aging political leaders.

Every time McConnell has a problem,

it becomes a problem for Joe Biden at this point.

In fact, he became, in some ways,

McConnell's chief defender, if you will,

which I think Biden's thinking I need this guy to keep the government open as well.

But the Republican leader now faces some growing calls to let someone else either take his place or to be more open about his medical history. National review has called for him to step aside. National review really is sort of the
