Hello there, I'm Chuck Ton and I just got off the meat press set this Sunday where we wrapped

up some exclusive interviews with senators Kevin Kramer, Republican North Dakota John

Tester, Democrat Montana.

And the Senate now considers President Biden's billback better agenda and that I was able

to sit down with Transportation Secretary Pete Poo to judge.

But let's just say it wasn't the only topics we talked about.

I'm sitting here now with our senior White House correspondent, my longtime colleague and

friend, Kelly O'Donnell.

We're going to talk a little bit about the show, what we just wrapped up, what we've learned,

and how we ended up with the guests that we had on our show today.

So Kelly, we had a huge debate about who we wanted to have on the show and how it should be

done.

You know, I'm sure, look, I said at the end of the show, I was surprised that the vice president

or some, or that in particular was somebody with the written house verdict that we wouldn't

that we'd see, but we didn't.

We ended up with, I think, interesting senators for their perspective, Tester and Kramer,

both from rural states, Democrat and Republican, Pete Buttigieg.

Here's what I took away is our geographic divide is going to be hard to penetrate when

it comes to this kind of issue because both Kramer and Tester really, I think, were very

mindful of that and their answers to me.

As someone who covered Capitol Hill, I always like seeing senators on your show and I think

this booking actually served a very valuable purpose because I do think people who live
