We're also joined by Bill Taylor, former US ambassador to Ukraine.

I'm sitting here now with our Pentagon correspondent, Courtney Cuby.

In O'Courty, this is a strange period.

We're sort of waiting for war.

I don't know how else to put it.

I hate saying the phrase, which is why I didn't say it on air, but it feels like we're

waiting for this to start.

Hoping it doesn't, but there doesn't seem to be a mechanism not to have this start now.

Yeah, I mean, this is going to be the future of conflict in some way.

When you have a large scale mobilization like this, you can't hide it.

So, for the first time we have been watching for months this build up, we've been waiting

for this to play out, but we're really in the final, final, final stages of it now.

The last stretch of this marathon, I think it is most likely going to happen that Vladimir

Putin will invade in a large scale invasion of Ukraine in the next few days.

There's a lot of intelligence that's pointing to that in that direction.

We keep hearing that the diplomacy window is cracked open a tiny bit now, but the only

way I see him deciding not to go forward with this at this point is if he gets everything

he's asking for and he's just not going to.

But, you know, what is happening at the Pentagon now in this respect?

If he goes in full, full, full bore into Ukraine, I don't know how this doesn't spill over.
