All right, everybody, let's plate this thing on a Sunday, December 15th, and a Monday,

December 16th, another edition of Lockdown Lions, the postgame pod.

As the Lions lose again, their seventh in a row, and now 10 of their last 11.

The Detroit Lions are 3.10 and 1. Not a surprise with all the injuries, the announcements over the weekend of guys like Joe Dahl, Jared Davis going on IR, Detroit just understaffed,

underwhelmed, overwhelmed, undermanned, whatever you want to call it.

Today gets blown out by the Tampa Bay box at Ford Field 38 to 17.

Tampa Bay is won five straight to get to seven and seven.

And the lions have dropped again seven in a row and ten of their last 11 to drop to 3, 10, and 1. 3817, the final,

it wasn't even that close. We will hand out game balls momentarily because there were some

guys that played hard and played well today. And the bottom line is this. At 21 to

three at halftime, it appeared that the Lions had quit and that they had basically folded the

tent. And James Winston was over 300 yards passing, 308 yards passing in the first half,

and just lit up the Lions for three touchdowns. So you figured the second half would be

more of the same. Winston would go for the record of Norm Van Brockland and like 500 passing yards

in a game. He didn't get there. But instead threw for 458 and four touchdowns. And they were all

wide open touchdowns. I mean, it's just Chris Godwin,

Streaking, Brashad Perriman alone, some guy named Scotty Miller behind the defense. The secondary

was garbage today. The pass rush wasn't very good again, and it was just easy pitch and catch, especially

on play action passes.
