Well, what a night it's been here at Anfield, Liverpool marching into the last 16 of the Champions League

after a 1-0 victory over Napoli here. It went down to the wire, they had to fight hard for it,

but there's no doubt that Liverpool certainly deserved

their place in the knockout stages. I thought they were outstanding tonight pretty

much from start to finish. I think cop got it is tapped it absolutely spot on I thought defensively they look so

rock solid Virgil Van Dyke absolutely commanding once again and also you know

Clop's probably biggest selection decision in terms of the makeup of his

midfield. He went for solidity and experience at organization and you know those wise old

heads in there Henderson

were now doing and I certainly repaid him because I thought

Liverpool showed real maturity and discipline and control those three works so so

hard to shut down space and win the ball back and keep

Liverpool in the ascendancy and you know that was the midfield that that led

Liverpool to the Champions League final last season and it's the midfield that's booked their place in that last
