Crystal Palace one, Liverpool 3 finished at Selhurst Park and the Reds move back in sights of Premier League leaders Manchester City

thanks to a Virgil van Dyke Hedda, a lovely Finnish Malach Ockley Chamberlain and a somewhat controversial late for Beney a penalty.

Good evening Reds and welcome along to the postgame podcast on the Blood Red

channel with your host as ever Patrick Smith as we react to that crucial win in

the Premier League title race.

The Reds absolutely dominated their South London opponents in the opening stages, but they had

man of the match, Alice and Becker to thank in the end after the Eagles failed to capitalize

upon their numerous chances during the second half

before Kevin Friend with the help of the A R awarded Liverpool a late controversial penalty to put the match

to bed.

The Reds moved to within nine points of Manchester City with a game in hand, so all is not yet lost in the title race.

I'm keeping my hopes up.
