Warner, Republican Senator Rob Portman, sitting here with Danny Plecta, senior fellow at the

American Enterprise Institute, and Danny, welcome. I know we had, I always appreciate you

coming on the panel. You keep it life, you keep it life. Yes. In a good way. I will, I don't

have a good, I'm never comfortable about the whole media tax thing. I do think that partisans

believe all media is against them. That's been, and so, and I, but I also know it's sort

of where we are. No, it's not just that. You know, I started as a journalist, low these

many, many years ago. I don't even want to remember. You're not that many stop it. So

much actually stop it. And, and, and you know, look, all smart people have a point of view.

If, you know, if you're a journalist and you do your best to sort of sit in the middle

of the road, try and observe things, try and talk about the why as you, as you say so

nicely. But the reality is that everybody smart and everybody in Washington has a perspective.

And the notion that they don't, that they're somehow, you know, a regular and impartial

is wrong because the questions you ask, everything is, I always say this, we're all born with

original bias. Okay. Because you're, you, you are. And so to me, it's not about left

or right, it's about fair. That's really what it is. At the end of the day, are you

fair? Are you presenting, are you presenting the facts and are you fair? It's not about

a balance either. There's no such thing as balancing. To me, it's fair and are you providing

all the perspective. But there's so much less space and journalism anymore for fair

because it doesn't sell, you know, well, that's a bigger problem, right? You got to
