Hey, everybody Rob mower here and today we are primarily talking about some news on a potential Tesla Texas factory as well as a significant

price target increase on Tesla stock from Jeffries. Tesla stock on the day today

finished up 1.2 percent to $1,003.96 that compared to the Nasdac up 3,003.96 cents that compared to the NASDAQ up 3 tenths of a percent.

All right, so we have some news today on Tesla's next factory in the United States.

We've talked a lot about how it's likely to end up in Texas, although technically Oklahoma is still in the running.

But today we have some information coming from a released document that Tesla has filed with the

Texas Comptroller Office, discussing their intent for the project if they were to build in Texas.

I think Bloomberg was the first to report on this, but we do get quite a few new

interesting details, the first of which is the location that Tesla is

targeting, which is an approximately 2,100 acre property in Travis County near Austin, Texas.

The location is actually extremely close to downtown Austin about 15 miles away,

and just a few miles away from the Austin Airport within a 10 minute drive.

Now it's important to note that Tesla has not actually acquired this property yet, as

Electric and I believe Tesla Rotti reported. I questioned that when I saw it

because these released documents are from a proposal from Tesla for tax breaks on the value of the property from the Del Valley Independent School District in that area to the tune of $68 million.

It doesn't make much sense to buy something and then later ask for a discount

on what you purchased. Obviously better to negotiate before purchase. So that didn't make a lot of sense.

I didn't hear back from Electrauk, but thankfully Elon did straighten this out on Twitter

replying to Tesla Rotti saying quote Tesla has an option to purchase this land but has not exercised it

end quote that means Tesla has reached an agreement with the owner of the property to give them some premium up front

to give Tesla the right to buy the property if they so choose at whatever the agreed-upon price is.

Tesla does not have to exercise that right if they opt not to then they would simply
