In 1986, 16-year-old Sean Sellers went into his house in Oklahoma City and found his mother and

stepfather shot to death.

When the police arrived, he pointed out all the signs that someone had broken in and robbed the place,

clearly killing his parents in the process.

It wasn't long though, before investigators started questioning the story and when the truth was uncovered, an entirely separate murder would also be solved.

This is monsters. So. The Sean Sellers was born on May 18th, 1969 in Corker in California to Jason and Vonda Sellers.

Jason and Vonda had married young and Sean was born not long after his mother's 16th birthday.

Jason was an artist who had a relatively laid-back approach to life and some trouble adjusting to having a wife and a newborn.

By 1972, the cellar separated and Vonda and Sean moved to Oklahoma where she had been born. Vonda had no work experience, so she started working in fast food and then at truck stop diners,

getting by with enough pay for a small apartment in McAllister and to provide Sean with everything he needed.

In 1974, Vonda met a man named Paul Leon Belifado, who went by Lee.

He was 11 years older than Vonda, also divorced, and had two children who lived with their mother.

He was a former Green Beret who had served in Vietnam.

He was at the end of his enlistment and had been transferred to a recruiting center in

McAllister to serve out the rest of his time.

By the time he was out of the service, the couple were madly in love and fortunately fond his

father, Jim Blackwell, liked Lee and taught him the basics of being a mechanic.

Lee was able to find a job as a mechanic and a tow truck driver at a local shop and he and Vonda

got married on January 1st, 1977.

The family was strong and Lee was a great father figure to Sean,

but in the late 70s there was an economic recession and Lee lost his job.
