Maower. Today we were talking about the Porsche Taicon unveiling and inside

Evie's August estimates. Tesla stock on the day today was down 1.92% to $220.68, compared to the NASDAQ with a strong day up 1.30%.

The stock traded flat for most of the day until the inside Evie's estimates came out.

Those were published one hour and eight minutes before market close.

At that point, the stock was at $220.77.

And then right after the release of the numbers the stock proceeded to fall by almost

five dollars to two hundred nineteen dollars eighty two cents over the next half an hour

so I think those estimates were responsible for the entirety of the drop today but we'll talk more about that a little later on.

The biggest news today was Portia's much anticipated unveiling of their all-electric

Tycon. This didn't actually end up being a full unveiling of the Tycon though. It ended up being just an unveiling of two trims, the Tycon Turbo and the Tycon Turbo S.

According to Portia, quote, less powerful variants of these all-wheel drive vehicles will follow this year.

End quote.

Totally makes sense strategically for Portia to start with the higher end trims and work their way down

into the base trims, but I am disappointed to not have the full information set yet for those lower trims.

I think it makes it somewhat difficult to judge the market potential, but for today we can look at the higher

trims, which again are the turbo and turbo

S. Right off the bat those names are a little bit weird for an electric vehicle,

but that's a naming convention that Porsche has used for a while to differentiate

varying trims, so they actually are staying consistent with the rest of their lineup despite this being an electric vehicle.

And there are turbocharged porches in the Porsche lineup that are not branded with the turbo nomenclature.
