Pippa, we've got big votes in the Commons this week we've got the PM going off on foreign trips

We've got party conferences starting well now

Feels like politics is back it does gradually we've been kind of ramping up over the

last week or so haven't we from the summer holidays and we also have this

week the first serious test of resolve on curious starmus tough decisions which we've talked

about before and we've heard so much about over the last few days when it comes to

the winter fuel payment row. So we've got this vote on Tuesday. The vote as far as I can

tell doesn't really mean anything. I mean apart from anything else the government's

got a big enough majority to win it and anyway this is a vote this is a

decision that gets made at a budget, really.

It's not something that Parliament would normally vote on.

But I guess this is a vote for the Labour Party to show whether or not it's united on some of the tough things it has to do, you know, now

that it's in government. And we were both, I think quite surprised when our
