Today, what do we know about Pretty Patel?

In her first year at St. Tech Tree, she went on four dawn raids.

One thing you might not know about Pretty Patel is that she seems to have a partial for police raids.

As the new home affairs editor for the Times, Matt Dathen explains,

In September, I joined her on one of these dawn raids.

It was in Brixton, and I was told to get that 4 a.m.

We had a briefing with the police team there and the county lines and national leaders as well.

County lines is the system of trafficking drugs from one part of the country to another using organized criminal networks.

And quite often, vulnerable teenagers who have been exploited by people higher up the chain.

And this county line, they were particularly targeting, was one that operated from Central London,

all the way to Horsham in West Sussex.

This particular dawn raid was targeting the kingpin of this county line's network.
