It worked really, I mean it's always nice to see anything inspired by the Souls games because it's just when someone really properly nails that gothic sort of intimidating but also kind of elegant.

I was actually reading because I bought the Dark Souls

art book recently just out of my growing obsession with From Software and they were

talking in it about how everything they design is so there's always got to be a dignity to it even if it's like rotting and dying and covered in parts

It still has this kind of... Yeah, this sad, refined elegance.

Almost a beauty to us in a way.

Yeah, I actually wrote on Game Front many years ago about how the Souls games are what I call beautifully bleak.

This sort of proof that having brown and grey colour schemes doesn't mean you have to have an ugly game.
