This is Lorenzo and I'm your host here in the psychedelic salon.

And I'd like to begin today by thanking fellow saloner EMB from London for his very generous gift of support for the salon.

And speaking of London, last Monday night's live salon was held on London time.

And for the foreseeable future, I've decided to continue doing live salons on London time

on the first Monday of each month.

Not every other Monday, but on the first Monday, we'll do a live salon on London time for a while here.

They've been really fun.

And while we ended up talking about ways in which we can help

our family members better understand where we're coming from when we talk about psychedelics,

well, we began by talking about whether to expect cancellations of music festivals this spring

due to the spread of the coronavirus. And it was really interesting to get a live report from one of our fellow salonsors who lives in Italy, which currently has the largest outbreak of the virus outside of China.

You know, it's one thing to read about this in news reports, but this news makes a much deeper impression on me when I'm talking with someone who is right in the middle of things.

I guess that I should point out also that every Monday evening I host a live version of the psychedelic salon

where my supporters on Patreon can join in or just lurk if they want to,

and these live salons are open to anybody who pledges just $1 a month.

And quite frankly, it's these donations from my supporters on Patreon that I'm using to
