Greetings from your host I'm your host here in the psychedelic salon.

So, where have you been for the past three weeks?

That's a joke in case you're wondering, because, seeing as how there have been Boku downloads since we were last together, I know that you've been here.

It was me that was away for a bit.

Seems like no matter where you live, there's been some kind of disruption in people's lives,

whether it's the cold weather in much of the U.S. or the rain and floods in the U.K. and throughout

much of Europe, or the political upheavals in a dozen or more places.

There is some kind of disturbance everywhere

to keep you off balance, it seems. Now, here in Southern California, in the county where I live,

we've got over 3 million people, and among us there are quite a few different political and

religious differences. However, at least so far, we've been able to settle our differences without any bloodshed.

And our weather is, actually, it's as good as it gets on this little planet. So I guess that

Mother Nature felt that we should have some kind of difficulties out here as well, and so she let

one of her new flu viruses loose on us. But I don't want you to think that I've been down with the flu.

The way I see it, I've just been strengthening my immune system.

And now that I'm almost back up to speed, I'm going to post this podcast right now with only a

minimum of talking on my part, and I'll follow up in a couple of days with another program

and a bit more commentary

from me. Right now, let's join Terence McKenna for the next segment of the workshop that we began

listening to a few weeks back, and if I remember correctly, this conversation took place in February

of 1994. Yeah.
