very upset with us because we, the United States, conducted a drone strike.

was on Thursday, and it killed a senior figure

in an Iran-linked militant group that is part of

Iraq's security apparatus and this is drawing sharp criticism from the

Iraqi government as well as allied groups. Now the Pentagon

did acknowledge responsibility. They issued a statement saying that US

forces had taken quote necessary and proportionate action and, adding that the attack was taken in

self-defense and that no civilians had been harmed. So what happened was a missile

fired by the drone, struck a vehicle carrying three men near the

logistics headquarters for the 12th brigade of the group known as Harakat
