All right, let's get into it and let's start with the updates on this just horrible

earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

This is the death toll is continuing to rise.

Now, I think the latest figures are put out, I checked right before the podcast, they're

saying over 25,000 people dead so far, 7.8 magnitude earthquake.

If you're looking geographically, it hits southern Turkey and northern Syria, just flattened

entire city blocks.

That whole region is fucked anyway, not only do they have the earthquake thing, they have

a refugee crisis, they've had decades of war going on.

There's already stories out about, and I'll get to it in a minute, but they have to halt

rescue efforts in some places because of security concerns, and it's just insane.

As far as the deaths per country, the Turkish National Emergency Management Agency is saying

that more than 22,000 people died there, and in Syria, the death toll costs 3,500 according

to Syria's health ministry.

In Syria alone, the United Nations said that the earthquake had affected 10.9 million
