guys let's get right into it this week and let's get going

with our live updates on all the protests that are going on.

So what do we have?

Well, we have thousands of protesters gathering in the United States as we speak

including in New York City and Washington DC for yet another day of

demonstrations over the death of George Floyd last month and I would

encourage you to go check out last week's podcast where I talk more specifically

about the actual George Floyd case. Now in Manhattan several thousand people gathered near the northwest

corner of Central Park in a demonstration called the March for

Stolen Dreams and Luded Lives. Linda Sarsauer, the Palestinian American activist, was there speaking and she introduced a series of speakers at the event.

In Washington, D.C. outside of Lafayette Square near the White House, events had the feel

of a music festival, writes the New York Times on their live update page.

Snacks were a raid unfolding tables and I Can't Breathe face masks were on sale

along with Black Lives Matter t-shirts.

But on the edges of the protest as lines of marchers made their way to the Lincoln Memorial

and other protests point across the city lay a scene more fitting for a military airfield
