which I kind of thought was a little bit underreported.

And this is this translator working for the US government, and she is being charged with providing highly

classified information to an Iranian-backed militia group and this is a woman for Minnesota right she's working as

a translator for the military like a contractor and prosecutors are saying

that she intensified her espionage as tensions

between the US and Iran increased in recent months. So prosecutors say that

this contractor named Miriam Taha Thompson, 61 years old, revealed to a

Lebanese man with ties to Hezbollah the names of foreign informants and details of the information they provided to the

United States. Now the identities of such informants are among the government's

most closely held secrets and law enforcement officials said

Thompson endangered the lives of the sources as well as those of military personnel.
