We have not done this in four weeks.

So we're back. I was on vacation uh then i can't remember what our schedule and conflict was then he was on vacation but we're all

back now uh should be fun fun few months here i i feel like this off season partly because basketball

has a little bit more going with them and football,

probably a little bit more optimism heading into this fall than last fall.

So a little bit more of a fun off season, have some fun topics today.

usually the day before the morning up. We can't get to all of them. And so we try to pick

the ones that promote the best discussion for this podcast. But regardless, we'll start with

basketball. Not a whole lot has happened in the four weeks. Mo Wagner went pro. I think that might

have come like the day after we recorded our last podcast. Charles Matthews dipping his toe

in the draft pool, seeing what's out there checking the temperature, but it's not signed an agent.

I, Steve, maybe you feel differently.

Personally, him not being invited to the combine,

I'm pretty much expecting him to come back for one more year at this point.

I mean, it's about as tangible in indicators you can get that he's running a major risk if he decides to stick in.

Is it still only first rounders are guaranteed a contract in the NBA, right?

Well, technically, of the top 55 picks last year, 53 of them got guaranteed deals.
