alex fast and that whole team so congrats to them for bringing home the hardware this year but

thanks for having me on jeff we bet uh let's jump right into it. Lots of news happening here. Let's start on top here with

some good news. Brian Bayo just got paid by the Red Sox. Yes, love to see players get paid,

especially if it's on their terms. You want to sign an extension in a situation like Bayos?

By all means, go ahead and do it.

I think he's an interesting picture because I've seen a lot of profiles over the years. And I can't

remember a lot of guys that were striking out 30% of the batters they faced, basically at every

level of the minor leagues, who saw a drop close to like 20% for their first couple

seasons in the big leagues.

I realize there's a big gap right now between AAA and the majors probably as wide as it's

ever been.

This is something that I hear from a lot of people that have scouted for a long time.

But it seems like the stuff hasn't fully translated just yet.

And I think if Bayo is going to take the next step and actually become better in fantasy circles,

at least become like a top 100 overall sort of pick someday, I think it's going to be solving lefties.
