Summary

On today's show, Pat and the boys overreact to everything that happened this weekend in the NFL including Jalen Hurts leading the Eagles to a win over the Saints, if the Packers defense/special teams will be good enough to give them a shot of going to the Super Bowl, whether or not the Steelers are DEAD, and much more. Joining the show is 3x Super Bowl Champion, former GM of the Cleveland Browns, host of the GM Shuffle Pod, co-host of HammerDAHN, and author, Michael Lombardi. Pat and Michael chat about the Saints disappointing performance against the Eagles, who he thinks has the best chance of taking down the Chiefs in the AFC, what's wrong with the Steelers, and if the Packers can make a Super Bowl run (20:32-40:31). Next, Pittsburgh radio legend, former WCW color commentator, and friend of the program, The Super Genius, Mark Madden joins the program to chat about what's wrong with the Steelers, the temperature in Pittsburgh, his thoughts on JuJu dancing on the Bills logo, why he's concerned about Big Ben, and much more (42:43-55:56). Later, Pat and AJ Hawk look back at everything we learned in week 14 of the NFL, if the Seahawks are fixed, the Giants apparently stinking again, the Washington Football Team being someone no team wants to play in the playoffs, and Derrick Henry running all over Jacksonville, plus they look ahead to tonight's Monday Night Football game between the Browns and Ravens and give their picks (55:58-1:37:11). Make sure you subscribe to youtube.com/thepatmcafeeshow and listen every day on Mad Dog Radio, Sirius XM Channel 82. We appreciate you all for listening, come and laugh with us, cheers.

Good afternoon. It is overreaction Monday, December 14, 2020. And you are listening to the Pat McFee show.

0:08.4

Pat had to go deal with some things so he had to run out. But we still have a great show for you.

0:13.9

Pittsburgh Radio Legend Mark Madden joins the show today to talk about the Steelers and if they're dead.

0:20.8

And also former GM of the Cleveland Browns and coaching assistant for the New England Patriots co-host of Hammer Don, the GM Shuffle pod, writes for the Daily Coach, the athletic Michael Lombardi joins the show.

0:36.8

And of course AJ Hawk joins as well to overreact to everything that happened in week 14 of the NFL. So let's get into it.

0:46.0

Today is a glorious day because although there is one more game in this beautiful week 14, we have learned a lot about the NFL. Yesterday was a magical day whose dead, whose alive will overreact to all of it. Speaking of overreactions, we'll have a Pittsburgh treasure, a national folklore.

1:07.6

Mark Madden joining us in about 20 minutes to talk about his thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Pittsburgh Steelers since having one particular fan joined their fan base have lost 100% of the games that they've played. We'll talk to Evan Fox about that.

1:22.4

We'll talk to Mark Madden about his thoughts about Juju Smith Schuster's tick-tock dance before the game potentially igniting a little fire behind the Buffalo Bills.

1:32.0

Josh Allen actually said before the game to the boys, they can do all the singing and dancing they want. Let's just go win a fucking game. And they did, by the way, in the Buffalo Bills did just that. Are the Steelers dead? That's a conversation that has to be had tonight.

1:45.6

The big AFC North match up between the Browns and Ravens at the Browns win are the Browns, the new team that everybody should be looking out for out of the AFC North or with the Browns continue to be the Browns of the last 50 years. In lose to the Ravens tonight with a door potentially opening for them, I can't wait to see how that plays out.

2:04.2

They can say chiefs get another win down in Miami, but they couldn't cover fuck.

2:07.8

Son of a bitch.

2:09.6

How could they not cover, by the way? I'll tell you how Patrick Holmes threw three interceptions to in the first quarter. It was problematic. But just like the Kansas City Chiefs do and whatever they want to do, they can just turn it on just like that. Travis Kelsey will take off. Tyree Kill will take off and their defense will be able to get a couple stops until the very end.

2:26.8

Whenever they can't give up any points for all those that cover or bet the chiefs to cover seven points, they choose not to do so only win by six. Everybody's pissed off, but the chiefs are still the same old team that we always thought they were, which is a team that can go on and win whenever the fuck they want.

2:41.6

Now the conversation revolves around who's the other AFC team that can compete with them to maybe represent in the Super Bowl? How about the Indianapolis Colts?

2:48.8

Indianapolis Colts beat the dog shit out of the Raiders yesterday in Las Vegas. It's good news. A T.Y. Hilton is probably going to win the offense of player of the week for the AFC, which we predicted last week after he came on this show because this show does that to people.

3:01.6

Get some onto the player, players of the week awards things, but T.Y. Hilton now is scoring touchdowns. Philip River seems to be protected.

3:10.8

The Colts defense in the second half shuts it the fuck down whenever they want and Kenny Moore had one of the nicest interceptions I've ever seen. But with Jonathan Taylor, a 9-heem hind in the backfield, with that offensive line, which by the way, Quentin Nelson played, left guard yesterday, left tackle yesterday, and I think somewhere else because Anthony Costanza kind of had to leave, he gets something retaped and readjusted and come back out there.

3:32.8

The Colts might be the best bet in the AFC to go against Kansas City Chiefs. And I wouldn't have said that five weeks ago, I don't think. I don't think I would have said that six weeks ago. But I think what this team has become is a team that you can bet on.

3:44.8

Now, it is obviously difficult to know what the fuck Phil Rivers are going to do because Phil Rivers, I don't think knows what Phil Rivers are going to do.

3:50.8

Phil Rivers has become very confident, very comfortable in this Colts offense. That defense is great. Special teams is good.

3:57.8

I think you've got to look at the Indianapolis Colts as the team of the AFC. But don't count out a couple teams that are inching into back door.
