On the cross, our savior said,

Father, forgive them, for they not know what they do.

That man, that young man.

I forgive him.

While believers are seated, if there's any in this room and across the globe,

that would desire to receive Jesus as their Savior, as Charlie did as a young man,

and now is in the presence of his Savior,

I'm going to ask you to put action to your faith. And I'd ask you to stand right now

to receive the Lord. Don't be ashamed. Stand. Amen. For those of us who knew Charlie and even those of you

who may never have had the chance to meet him in person, we all know and experienced how Charlie spoke

with a calm courage,

not asking, what will God do for me, but instead praying, God, use me for your will.

Christ told us in the gospel of John, I have said these things to you that in me you may have peace.

In the world, you will have tribulation but take heart i have overcome the world every single one of us before the beginning of time

by the hands of the god of the universe and all powerful god who loved us and created us for the

purpose of living with him in eternity.

But then sin entered the world and separated us from our creator.

And so God took on the form of a man and came down and lived among us.
