An instructor at Washington State University was arrested for assaulting a student over his MAGA hat.

Now, when I was raised, I'm 54, put that in a perspective, we were taught, and it's a very

good lesson, sticks and stones may break my bones, but say it, dad, for the kids in the back

seat, sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me.

And the reason we had to learn that little term, that little ditty,

was because kids would pick on you.

If you wore glasses, they'd say, hey, four eyes, hey, four eyes, how's it going, four eyes?

If you were fat, they'd call you fatty.

If you're skinny, they'd call you skinny or some other name.

Flaco, flakito, whatever it was.

Pimple face, four eyes, cross-eyed, bucktooth, you name it.

There's all sorts of teasing.

Teasing goes on in every species of some sort or another.

A form of insecurity.

You see in the animal kingdom where they don't have the ability to vocalize and do this,

so elephants will charge to try to get you to pull back

they're not charging because they're bullies they're charging because they're fearful we had two

chihuahuas over the course of 30 years that lived long healthy happy lives and when someone came

into the house they would charge at you including big dogs more often than not, it would scare the person back.
