3:05pm- In a new interview with The New York Times, former Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Dr. Anthony Fauci avoided taking responsibility for nation-wide locked downs during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, explaining: “show me a school that I shut down and show me a factory that I shut down. Never. I never did. 3:30pm- On Wednesday, American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten testified during a House Oversight and Accountability Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis. During the hearing, Weingarten claimed she was unable to recall when she first began consulting with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on remote learning measures because she is in her 60’s and, consequently, her memory isn’t particularly strong. Weingarten also told Congress that she never suggested revisions to CDC guidelines, she merely presented the CDC with “ideas.”

3:40pm- Paul Thacker—American journalist based in Spain and former Fellow at the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University—joins The Rich Zeoli to discuss his work, “The Disinformation Chronicle” which documents the U.S. government’s missteps regarding the COVID-19 pandemic including Dr. Anthony Fauci’s refusal to concede that U.S. taxpayer money funded gain-of-function research in China. 4:05pm- Emma Camp—Assistant Editor at Reason Magazine & Reason.com—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss her recent article, “How an Ill-Informed Internet Mob Ruined a UVA Student’s Life.” Camp writes, “Morgan Bettinger was accused on social media of telling protesters they would make good ‘speed bumps.’ It was more than a year before investigations cleared her.” Sadly, Bettinger had her personal life destroyed and her academic life derailed over false allegations. 4:15pm- According to reports on Twitter, Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Health Security has removed “Event 201” from its website. The event was a “high-level pandemic exercise on October 18, 2019, in New York, NY. The exercise illustrated areas where public/private partnerships will be necessary during the response to a severe pandemic.” Why was the content suddenly erased?

4:40pm- During a Senate hearing on Wednesday, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm stated that she supports the U.S. military adopting an all-electric vehicle fleet by 2030. Rich hilariously wonders what will happen if someone forgets to charge the tanks?

4:50pm- According to rumors reported on by Page Six, former President Donald Trump is being urged by insiders to pick Ron DeSantis to be his Vice President/running mate as part of an effort to blunt the Florida Governor’s 2024 presidential ambitions.

5:40pm- While testifying before the House Judiciary Committee on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Oversight, Director Steven Dettekbach was unable to define “assault weapon” when questioned by Congresswoman Jackson Lee (D-TX).

5:55pm- The House of Representatives has passed a bill that would raise the nation’s debt ceiling while concurrently cutting long-term federal spending. The bill passed along party lines with 217 Republicans voting in favor and 215 Democrats opposing. President Joe Biden has already pledged to veto the bill.

6:05pm- Appearing on the Dear Schuyler podcast, NCAA champion swimmer Lia Thomas—a biological male—claimed that anyone who doesn’t support transgender athletes participating in sports as the gender of their choosing, cannot truly be considered feminists.
