What we reconvene here, I'm here six hours after we last left each other to talk about the rest of the NBA playoff picture is there a series that most intrigues you that you wanted to start with any.

I would say a good place to start is rockets wolves. I am very interested in in the way that series is going to play out and we talked about this a little bit last night, but why I'm concerned about the series for the wolves who obviously should be thrilled they made it in despite.

I mean, you know, after Jimmy Butler is injury and his in process recovery, but what Houston does is they focus on the week link. They get the week link involved in the primary action.

They get that guy on the player in question and then they attack and Minnesota has some strengths. I think Jimmy Butler is a wonderful defender.

Touch Gibson's a wonderful defender, but the ruthlessness of Houston's offensive attack and that is in their DNA is there. It is their mo.

I think that is going to be very dangerous for Minnesota. Yeah, and Houston had the highest offensive rating of any team against another team in the season series.

129. I'm sorry, the second highest Minnesota against Cleveland was the highest at 130.

Those per John Schuban this morning. So Minnesota has not in fact succeeded at stopping the wolves.

You'll recall, of course, that it was against Houston that Jimmy Butler sustained that meniscus injury.

And for Minnesota, unlike a lot of teams, they really seem to try to avoid switching even on small, small picking roles.

They'll try to avoid switching. That's what Tom Thibode believes in. That's what he's believing going all the way back to his days with the bulls when he has to match up with LeBron James on some of those same types of plays.

And maybe the hope is that Thibode with a lot of time to coach these guys up against one specific opponent.

Maybe he can get them there with the practice time in a way that they wouldn't be able to do against the normal team.

Maybe a little bit more hope is that James Harden has not been shooting the three as well hasn't been hitting that step back as much after much first.

Although for much of that time, Harden has had the MVP son up and Houston has had the number one seed in the playoffs son up.

That so they have not had it as much urgency. And for when Houston has the ball, Jimmy Butler, you presume is going to get the assignment on Harden.

You might be concerned that oh, that's going to kill his offense, but they at least have plenty of other guys who can create shots on this team for him.

How do you think Minnesota is going to look against Houston switching defense?

Well, I mean, the weakness of a switching defense and we've seen this in various series over the last couple of years is against individually dominant offensive players.

And Minnesota has at least two of those guys and you know, if either Tigger Wiggins is feeling it, that number can rise significantly from there and then Jamal Crawford.

So the big question for me is not necessarily whether Minnesota can score.

They've been more successful offensively this season than we expected.
