If you put your effort and concentration and to play into your potential to be the best that you can be, I don't care what the scoreboard says at the end of the game. In my book, we're going to be winners.

You know, this is one thought that was so freeing for me as an athlete. um most players spend their whole career trying to avoid

mistakes you know trying not to mess up and some of the players just that's all they think about

is not messing up but really the player with the growth mindset that go after it the no fear like

those are the players that accomplished the most and you know my dad was a 30 year high

school coach coached me and probably remember this quote more than any and i've had many of my

teammates recite this back to me and say great players make great mistakes and how freeing that was

specifically i remember a player who was um always wanted to do the right thing, never wanted to mess up.

And he said, when my dad shared that with him, it changed his whole game.
