Well, well, well, look who's back inside the luxurious studios of LSU Gold.

It's been a while, but I am happy to be back here for play-by-play with my co-host, the illustrious Kent, Kent.

It seems like it's been months and months since you and I have been together talking LSU athletics, and of course I apologize for that. You've been busy. You've been out of town. Well, we missed you. We missed you. Last time we were typing. Yeah. But anyway, it's a busy time of year. But that's a good thing because that's what we do on here.

Kind of run down what's happening in LSU athletics,

and things are going swimmingly well, as they would say.

Obviously, LSU baseball again this week, number one in the land,

the LSU track and field, women number two in the outdoor rankings, men number five.

We'll talk about LSU softball coming up.

Golf, of course, it seems like we're getting later and later into the semester,

and suddenly we're talking about tournaments now, which just doesn't seem right to me.

It seems like yesterday we were starting this spring semester.

Yeah, exactly.

And the women's championship is this week in Birmingham, Alabama, and very exciting format,

three days of qualifying and then match play on Saturday and Sunday. And of course,

your Tigers are the defending women's SEC champions.

That's right.

And so with three of the players back who were on that team last year

and looks to be okay weather-wise, a little iffy a couple of days,

but it should be a good week in Birmingham,

looking forward to watching that again this year.
