How are you?

Hey, I'm doing great.

Thank you so much for having me, George.

How did you get involved in plastic surgery?

Oh, wow.

This was a long time ago.

I actually had a patient when I was a medical student who was a little baby whose face was actually mauled by a raccoon.

And when the plastic surgeon came in and showed me the plans that he was going to make to try to reconstruct this little baby's face. It really got me hooked on the specialty.

Do you have to be almost like an artist to be a good plastic surgeon?

I actually don't think so. You know, you can really follow a lot of the techniques that were taught as plastic surgeons. And even if you don't have a lot of artistry in you,

if you follow the techniques, then you can do well.

But to be an excellent plastic surgeon, yes,
