I am your host, Jamie Valmay, and this is the podcast where we blend to deeply theological topics with thoroughly practical application, all for God's glory.

Hey, ladies, welcome back to the podcast.

0:15.9

Today I have a really fun interview that I did with Elizabeth from Sunshine in My Nest. If you are wanting to work on

0:23.4

planning, getting a jump on the new year, this is going to be a great episode. I do apologize.

0:29.2

This week, we were supposed to have the 2022 Reading Challenge published. And I, we were like,

0:35.9

actually, the beginning of last week, we were on top of it.

0:39.1

We were ready to get it.

0:40.0

We had a lot of, we had a lot more work for that episode that we had to do beforehand to get the episode ready and like we were on top of it.

0:47.5

And then I got, our whole family dead got utterly sick this week, really, really sick.

0:53.3

Usually when we get sick, we're down for a day or two,

0:55.5

and I've been down for like five days. And I got super sick. I don't know if you can hear it in my

0:59.8

voice still. I will not even be able to record longer than this few minutes. In fact, I've already

1:04.9

had to stop once to cough. And so I got really sick. The whole family got sick, and it just like obliterated our plans to get the rest of it recorded and done. We should have done the recording first and then maybe we could have got it up. Anyway, so we are going to sit down the early of the early this week and actually get it up. So it will be up before Christmas.

1:28.3

So thank you guys for all of your patience on that. And I was feeling so sad about not getting

1:33.7

it up. And then I realized that I have Elizabeth's interview that we could actually put up this

1:37.8

week that was going to come was going to go up in a couple of weeks instead. So we're just

1:41.5

kind of shifting the schedule around a tiny bit. I know you guys were excited for the reading challenge, but that is still coming. But you have not

1:49.2

wanted to hear me on a podcast with how sick I've been. And I have not had the energy to do so.

1:54.3

And I've heard from a couple other families that are sick right now too right before Christmas.

1:58.8

So just praying for everybody's health that everybody can feel

2:02.6

better as we head into the Christmas week. You're going to really enjoy this episode, though.
