popular food options for Americans. Believe it or not, 350 slices are eaten every second in America.

Now let's put that in perspective. That's about 21,000 slices eaten nationally in just one

minute. One of the biggest days for pizzas is no surprise at Super Bowl Sunday.

Pizza is a major staple of the sports event with an average of 2.5 million pizzas being sold, and that's

just from Pizza Hut. According to the United States Department of Agriculture, about 13%

of Americans eat pizza daily. That's about one in eight Americans eating slice on any given day.

93% of Americans have at least one slice of pizza per month. So, Christina, when it comes to takeout, what are the biggest mistakes that we're making with our slices? Yeah, you know, John, I am obsessed with pizza and I wish I was one of the 13% that ate it every day. Unfortunately, I'm not. You can change that. I could. You can be part of the 13%ers. Especially if you make some smart choices. I mean, it is tough. It gets tricky with delivery especially because you can just call up your local place or a lot of places you can order online now and you can just have a pizza within the hour. So it is easy to just kind of order up a pizza and have a delivered right to your house without thinking about it. But I think the biggest issue people make is just kind of ordering things as is and not customizing them.
