0:00.0	Hey everyone. I'm Chris Carter from the Lockdown Steelers podcast, and this is your lockdown now update for the Pittsburgh Steelers who have signed a linebacker, Cole Holcomb, to a three-year deal still waiting for all the finances on this deal.
0:14.0	But Wednesday morning, you woke up and you got some news. The Steelers signed a linebacker. We were talking about on the last show, well, all those shows that they needed to make a move at linebacker because all they had was Miles Jack and Mark Robinson.
0:27.2	And Robert Spillane signing to the Raiders takes him off the Steelers radar.
0:31.5	So they went and got Cole Holcomb.
0:33.5	He's a young 26-year-old linebacker.
0:36.0	He'll be 27, I think, when the season starts next year.
0:39.2	But he comes with playing experience from the Washington commanders.
0:42.1	He last year, he suffered a foot injury that cut his half of his year off.
0:46.3	But by my quick and film analysis, and I must, you know, emphasize,
0:50.5	I haven't gotten a chance to study this guy in depth or anything, but by just looking
0:54.8	at some of his films, some of the good tape and some of the bad tape, it seems like this guy,
0:59.3	he is a decent athlete who can hit, and he's decent in coverage. He's not going to be immaculate. He's
1:05.0	not going to wipe away all the tight ends out there, but he's a decently, he's a decently sized
1:09.4	guy at 6.1, 240.
1:11.8	Um, he's also, uh, he also seems like like a guy who's willing to hit a lot of his,
1:16.4	a lot of the better plays that I saw of him.
1:18.7	He was playing downfield a lot like how Roberts Blaine was, but bigger,
1:23.0	stronger and also more effective in coverage.
1:25.9	Pro football focus gave him a 67 coverage rating on their grades, on their grade system,
1:31.9	and charted him to be targeted 19 times to allow 15 receptions, which on itself isn't that good.
1:38.7	But he only allowed 155 yards through there, did allow three touchdowns on the year and did have a pass breakup.
1:45.2	But I think the thing here is the Steelers aren't getting this guy.
