Good to sit with you in person. Yeah. And and me and be talking pipes and pipe tobacco. Yeah. No, it's always, you know, it's funny because, like, you think about how things come to be, right? And in this show, we've got, you know, so many kind of inside jokes and lore and everything that's kind of been established over the years. And I mean, like, we always start off the show the same way, right? You know, you know. Yeah. Well, because we're going to country radio.

You know, the whole thing. Blu, blah, blah. Yeah, yeah. But like, what's funny is over time, whenever I go JD, I'm always just like, in my head, I'm always like that kid in the candy store. Like, JD! Hey!

And there's a lot of truth in that.

On the show and talking some good, uh, just honestly, just, to be honest, like for me, I just like talking to you, man. I miss you and it's always good to it gives us a chance to catch up and, you know, be in the same space and, um, and enjoy each other's company. And so, yeah,

it's a, it's, in some senses, it's a good excuse for that. Yeah. I've got a question because, um, you know, this is a pipe smoking one-on-one kind of episode. It's always one for kind of of newer listeners and, uh, specifically newer pipe smokers. And, you know, our pipe smoking one-on-one series is always one that kind of captures the attention of those newer pipe smokers who

are coming in.

So I think it's good to kind of establish a couple things off the bat for those newer pipe smokers. For one thing, you and I were, as we're recording right now, we're in New Orleans, but you know, the country squire is a pipe tobacconist in Jackson, Mississippi. You yourself have been in this industry for goodness gracious. How long has it been? It's been over 10 years now. Yeah. It's been over a decade. I need to actually, I always forget. I need to like go back on the calendar and, you know, find my start date and all that kind of stuff.
