So let's talk a little bit about the piece that you just wrote.

I want to start there and then wrap around to the polls after that because it's a very

interesting piece that was just published

called the Republican Paradox, conservative voters who nominate moderates. And in it, you're making

the case that the role that Donald Trump plays among Republican and conservative voters has from 2016 to now, and you're

arguing that that may mean that there's an opening, although it doesn't look like right now.
