We now have a benchmark for exactly what kind of historic times we are living in

on a day-to-day basis in real time as we watch the Trump administration

change everything we've known about our federal government

and the way we do business in the United States. How do we know that we have a new benchmark?

And these are historic times? Well, on Tuesday, around 5 o'clock, I guess, Kansas City time,

the Trump administration released 80,000 pages of the JFK assassination files, and it was maybe the fourth biggest story of the day.

It's unbelievable.

Now, one of his deputy press secretaries earlier in the day named Kush Dussai said in an interview that America would be shocked by what they see in the

JFK files. And that may be true. Again, there's 80,000 pages and people have been pouring over

these things overnight, the people that are really into JFK, there'll be a lot of research,

there'll be more reporting as time goes by. But ultimately, while there were all kinds of names in

there that made us go,

hmm, we saw some new information about KGB reports on Lee Harvey Oswald. We saw a page that

referred to leave Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby, the man that killed him, had met weeks earlier.

We knew that Oswald was married to a woman who was a Soviet and had made

several trips to the Soviet Union. The CIA reported that this woman rode Lee Harvey Oswald

incessantly and he was a frustrated, bitter man and all these different things. There's a lot of

good juicy stuff in there. We saw a document from 1994 where JFK Jr. had called Joe Biden a traitor,

and it has been released. We saw things about George Herbert Walker Bush working for the CIA,

that he was in Dallas the day of the assassination, but later recalled he didn't remember where he was
