the pick-by-pick podcast that we just did. It was me, Chris, Jamie, and Heath, and we each had

three teams and a 12-team, three-receiver PPR

league.

And we kind of talked about the process in each pick and what to look for and the

tears and all that.

So what was your biggest takeaway from that exercise?

Well, first, don't just draft for upside or Adam will exclaim you publicly.

Biggest takeaway, and I think this is, it's not a player-focused thing.

It's a kind of a game theory thing, but it's know your opponents.

Know your army.

If you've been in a league with people for a couple

years, you know how people draft. You know if your draft is the kind of draft where

quarterbacks go early or if people really love, you know, New York Giants players, if you're

playing in a league with a bunch of Giants fans, you know, that kind of thing. You know, it's just

know who you're drafting against because it will help you, you know, that kind of thing. You know, it's just know who you're drafting against

because it will help you, uh, you know, figure out what kind of trends you need to chase or

avoid. You know, if you know, quarterbacks go early and you're picking between a quarterback

with the 10th pick in the fourth round or a running back, you might not get another chance to take that

quarterback the next time around. So that's the kind of thing I think you should keep in mind.
