most wheel-kent landscape photographers. If you've seen a photograph of Scotland, chances are

it's one of his. He's an extraordinary talent. It's his interest and his passion for the natural world,

however, which has taken him all of the world to photograph wild places.

In his latest project, Fragile, he turns his attention to Bird's Eggs,

specifically the collection of birds' eggs at the National Museums of Scotland.

The resulting book is beautiful, and I have to say strangely mesmeric.

I went along to the Collection Centre at the National Museums in Edinburgh
