Trust the process already jumping in on him. Cookie Man needs to step up while Melton is out.

We'll talk about him briefly a little bit later on in the show De Anthony Melton. We'll speak about

him. Maybe a few other things with the arena that has perked up our ears a little bit, yours as well. But we have to start off with the big fella. Speaking for the first time to the media, since his surgery in early in January, right? Yeah. No. February. February. Man, you're real. I'm awful on that one, man. I'm off on that one. February, the big fella speaks for the first time, and he had a lot to say. Both Kyle and Derek were at the practice facility as he spoke. And the first thing I asked Kyle when we got in here was, how was he walking, man? How did he look? How was he walking?

He had the basketball. Saw him the other day, you know, on the bench at the game, and he seemed

like he was fine in terms of how he was walking, but I was just very curious. But he did speak today,

and a lot came out of that, that press availability there today for Joel and Bede.

Some things that might give a lot of Sixth

fans some hope when we've talked about it so much about his potential return, maybe late

March, early April before the postseason. Kyle, starting with you, man. What was the first thing

that really got as you listened to what he was saying, seeing him walk, of course, all of that.

But what were some of the things that really stood out to you from Joel and B speaking today?

Well, here's the first one, and it actually has nothing to do with his health.

I thought if you're trying to say, what's the most noteworthy thing, he said?

It's that he seemed happy with what they did at the deadline.

Like if we're talking about real big picture stuff and what matters,

Jowell being healthy matters for this season,

but Juel and Mide being happy and wanting to be here and feeling that the vision
