Derek Bodner joined by Rich Hoffman, who finally, I honestly got off to Schneide because they had won a couple games here, but I believe there were two and four coming into this one with you in the studio.

That improved in a big way here as the Sixers dominated the Lakers 138-294.

Joel Embed had a triple double, a relatively easy triple-double, a triple-double through three-quarters. Tyrese Maxi led a three-point barrage where the Sixers set their season high in three's made. And overall, they just completely dominated a Lakers squad. Hey, doing, Rich. Derek, I'm doing fine. I was a little nervous coming into the game. The last couple of pods have been pretty rough. And I'm not going to lie. Like, we are supposed to be journalists and we are supposed to be kind of impartial. I guess our job is a little bit different now with this new, new format. I would rather talk about wins. It is more fun to talk about wins. That is objectively true. You can be a

journalist and still acknowledge that. It was getting, look, I feel like every other podcast we've

done, man, you know what, I don't want to make too big of a deal of it, but that one was tough to watch.

This one was real, real easy to watch, including a fourth quarter. Look, they were already up pretty

big in the fourth quarter, but to win that one 40 to 14 in the final frame going away made it even easier to talk about. Sixers, of course, improved to 12 and 5 on the season. And I guess, you know, there's a lot to talk about here. Like I said, the Sixers made 22-3s. You're going to win a lot of games when you do that, especially when you outscore the other team by, I think, 36 from the three-point line

tends to be a winning strategy. To L&B had his first triple level of the season, the sixth of his career. Tyrus Maxi had another 30 spot with 31 points on 9 for 20 shooting, a lot of it coming in the first half. Marcus Morris made some threes. Patrick Beverly had a good game against his former team. Everybody played well. Everybody played well. Even Mo Bamba in a couple of minutes off the bench played. I think. I was mostly taking notes at that point. But I think he played pretty well. Where would you like to start this one off with? I was mostly taking notes at that point as well, but when you do look at the box score,

we still had the audio on the Sixers Deep Subs were schooling them.

Paul Reed set his career high in three-pointers made on the season now.

He's up to three.

He had five straight points. He played well in garbage time minutes. It was a good performance for sure. Yeah. So where would I like to start? I would like to start, and this is, I know on a night everybody plays well. It seems maybe a little bit of a waste to start here. I would like to start with the best player on the team. And that is Joelle Embed. And to me, I thought this game, which, by the way, beating the crap out of the Lakers, pretty good team. Like obviously they have some warts. They kind of started a little bit slow to start here. Their offense can be a struggle. But they came in with, and this is why I think maybe this performance is so encouraging, they came in with the six-rank defense.

They can compete defensively.

They've got some tools on that end.

Yeah, for sure.

Not a bad team.

But I would like to start with Joe, 31 minutes, 30 points, 11 assists, 11 rebounds,

four offensive rebounds.
