I am still waiting for my co-host of the PHY-Sixers podcast, Derek Bodner, who is rushing

through traffic to be able to get an emergency podcast to you guys.

But I don't even know if it's fair to call it an emergency now that

it's been about eight hours since a trade drop. The first time that I've gone to sleep before

2 a.m. and maybe three weeks to a month waiting around for trades. Of course, a trade happens.

So here we are. If you guys missed it last night, we can go through the

particulars of the trade, outgoing for the Sixers, James Harden, obviously, the big headliner

here, and then Philip Petra Sevve, PJ Tucker, we'll get to PJ Tucker certainly in a

minute when Derek gets here to the studio.

Incoming, first we get to the players who don't really matter as much. Nicholas Batum, Robert Covington, K.J. Martin, who is going to be more important than I think people believe.

Marcus Morris, who's probably going to be less important than people believe.

And then the stuff that you guys all care about, the picks.

There's a 2026 pick that Derek is probably going to get into the reporting on the protections on that.

There's a 2028, L.A. Clippers unprotected.

That's probably the big steel that we've gotten or that the Sixers have gotten.

It's really going to drive them forward here in trade talks with other teams.

There's a pick swap from the Clippers coming in 2029.

And then there are 2024 and 2029 second rounders from the Clippers.

I see all these comments coming in. There's freedom tastes so good.

People are excited that PJ Tucker is gone.
