My name is Bill Mats. I'm your director, Funning Games for the Post Game. Joining me tonight, Philadelphia's number one hockey beat reporter, Charlie O'Connor,

and Broad Street Hockey Zone, Kelly Hinkle.

Lady and Gentleman, that's what I'm talking about.

They don't have to win, but they do have to entertain me.

They gave us something.

And we got what we needed, I think, out of the flyers tonight.

This went from potentially being one of the worst possible post game shows ever to being

truly a fascinating one. We almost went all the way. There is so much to break down in this game,

despite the fact that obviously the Flyers lose six to three to the Washington Capitals.

But this went from being, because like the first 20 to 30 minutes of this game was like

beyond dog crap from the Flyers to the point where, and I went on the pregame show saying

that, look, I'm not ready to make any sweeping generalizations on this team.

It's only six games.

Really during the road trip, I don't think they were that bad, just sloppy.

Watching that initial period and then beginning of the second period, I was like, man, this team might be real, real bad.

They had a-

But then we have the second half,

and now we actually have some interesting things to talk about beyond, like,

oh, God, this team is terrible.
