Well, that's good. Welcome to PHLY Flyers. My name is Bill Mats. I'm you director, Fun and Games for the afternoon. Joining me today is Philadelphia's number one hockey beat reporter. It is Charlie O'Connor. It's up today, Chuck. How's it going? Oh, it's just another beautiful Thursday here at PHLY.

It's really hot outside.

Today was the first day of the off season where like an hour before the show, I text Charlie and I'm just like, I got nothing.

I have no idea what we're going to be doing today. So we got to figure something out. But honestly, I think we put together a pretty good

show today. But it is, we are deep into the off season. And I don't want to waste my F-around Friday

topics on non- Fridays. Like, got to save something for tomorrow. But I do think we came up with some good

stuff for today. I'm excited for the show, as I always am. Uh, I want to start out, though,

with something that flat out sucks, honestly. Uh, so we found out a couple of what was like a week

ago. A week ago. Jeff Marrick was, uh, was let go from what sports net? Sportsnet, yeah. And, uh,

it was kind of weird because it was like, people said draft related incident.

And it was like, oh, they're in Vegas.

Like, what the fuck did this guy do?

Yeah.

And then I had heard that had nothing to do with that.

I heard it was nothing to do with that.

What I had heard and this popped up at our discord was that it was something, basically he

had ticked off the rights holders and that was all

that I had heard it turns out that is exactly what happened that's what happened but like I thought

it was like oh did he like insult someone's wife or something with a joke like how did he tick off the

right so that fucking Ted Turner man let me tell you about him. It turns out it wasn't that.

So I guess what this comes down to was pick tipping to a friend.
