I'm your host, Rick Burgess, and looking forward to continuing our study in the book of Philippians.

and we're going to go from verse 12 to 18 today.

So we'll work through that.

There's a lot for us to cover.

I've been out on location with my day job today. So pardon that.

It's another reason that I'm glad that my grandmother is in heaven or else I'd be sitting here

with flat hair with headphones on with no hat. So anyway, glad that you have made time to be with us.

This is part of an ongoing strategy to reach and disciple men. You can find our full

strategy at the manchurch.com. We have been all over the country and even around the world for

the last six years, reaching and discipling men. We're kind of celebrating by the time we're

doing this Bible study. Some new research has just been done, and especially young men are attending the local church at levels we have not seen in 30 years.

As a matter of fact, for the first time in three decades, more men are in church than women.

So there is a revival that's going on among men, and we are just celebrating being some small part of that.

And part of that is trying to equip men to take the role that God has called us to in the form of small group curriculum.
